中新网成都10月17日电 (单鹏)2025天府书展17日在成都开幕。当天,一部深度诠释中华饮食文化与成都城市生活美学的英文著作《滋味千名——成都·后现代城市生活美学》(以下简称《滋味千名》)在书展现场正式发布。

据悉,该书由外文出版社与成都大学天府文化研究院、成都时代出版社联合推出,旨在通过美食这一世界性语言,向全球读者展现成都兼容传统底蕴与现代活力的城市形象。
《滋味千名》是“成都·后现代城市生活美学”系列的重要组成部分。该书系统梳理了天府美食从古至今的源流与演变,探讨其作为生存需求的基本功能,深入挖掘美食背后所蕴含的中华礼仪、情感哲思与生活智慧。全书以“食”为切入点,生动传递了成都人友善、乐观、包容的生活态度,呈现了一个在苦辣酸甜中追求幸福、于日常烟火中创造美好的中国形象。
中国出版协会副理事长陆彩荣在致辞中表示,《滋味千名》将“食”这一世界性语言,转化为品读成都、理解中国的文化密码。它向世界表明,成都人的友善、乐观与包容,就融化在每日的烟火气中。这本书采用国际化视角,没有将成都文化塑造成静止的标本,而是将其置于当代城市发展的语境下,探讨传统与时尚的交融、本土与全球的对话,打破了海外读者对中国文化“古老神秘”的刻板印象,展现了一个既深植传统又拥抱未来的当代中国形象。
在作者、译者与学者对话环节,四川旅游学院教授杜莉说道,书中所言的“滋味”不仅是舌尖之味,更蕴含着天府文化的密码,解析了美食与礼乐、祭祀、情感及城市形象塑造的深层关系,融汇了浓郁的文化之味、历史之味与当代都市之味,使全球读者能于烟火气息中兴趣盎然地走近成都。
成都大学天府文化研究院学术院长谭平指出,成都所代表的“天府文化”具有高度世俗化、生活化与平民化的人文属性,能够跨越文化与语言隔阂,引发全球读者的共情,是“讲好中国故事之成都篇章”的最佳题材。
据了解,《滋味千名》的出版是成都加强国际传播能力建设、推动中华文化走向世界的具体举措。据悉,该“成都·后现代城市生活美学”系列丛书,由谭平和外文出版社共同策划,包括衣、食、住、行、用五本,全面展现成都2300多年来的繁盛烟火与优雅生活。目前,系列首部《衣袂飘飘》英文版已于2023年出版并广受关注;《滋味千名》英文版今日发布;后续《天府物华》《既崇且丽》《廊桥回声》也将陆续推出,预计于2027年整体亮相,进一步促进中外文明交流互鉴。(完)
