  中新网天津11月5日电 (记者 孙玲玲)天津大学国家储能技术产教融合创新平台吉科猛团队联合上海交通大学、巴西圣保罗大学、美国加州大学尔湾分校等国内外科研单位,预言了一类新型二维拓扑二硫化物单层材料(HfTiTe4、ZrTiTe4和HfZrTe4),这些材料在快充性能、循环稳定性、耐热稳定性等方面展现出巨大潜力,为高性能电池技术发展提供了重要的科学理论支撑。

  近日,相关研究成果以《用于下一代电池负极和硫正极宿主的超稳定单层碲化物拓扑材料》为题在线发表在期刊《先进科学》(Advanced Science)上。

  研究团队通过计算模拟发现,这些材料作为负极活性材料,其丰富的锂、钠离子存储位点和超快的离子传输能力,可显著提升电池负极的快充性能。作为硫正极材料载体,它们能有效锚定并催化转化多硫化物中间体,有望大幅延长正极循环寿命并优化其快充表现。

  该新型二维材料用于电池负极时的电化学性能指标突出:储存锂离子时,理论上每克能存1.60安时的电量;储存钠离子时,每克能存1.35安时的电量。同时,离子在该材料中移动时遇到的阻力特别小,离子扩散势垒分别低至0.206电子伏和0.046电子伏。这些性能远优于现有二维碳材料和磷材料的水平,给高性能电池研发提供了全新的材料选择。

  据介绍,目前常用的锂硫电池和钠硫电池普遍存在一个问题:多硫化物会“乱跑”,直接影响电池稳定性和充电效率。研究团队通过计算发现,这类新型二维材料表面有特殊的化学特性和吸附能力,能牢牢“抓住”多硫化物,阻止它们“乱跑”,从而能很好地提升电池反复使用的稳定性和充电效率。

  此外,该材料在从室温到约227℃温度区间时,其耐热性和动力学性能依旧表现良好,为电池在高温工况场景如新能源汽车夏季户外长时间行驶、工业储能系统高温环境运行、便携式电子设备高功率放电等的应用提供了关键技术理论支撑。(完)
